Health Sciences Social Justice Film Series

Film is an art form that can touch our lives through a variety of senses and can be a vehicle to deliver powerful messages. The UW Health Sciences Social Justice Film Series is where academia meets art, expanding our awareness, and inspiring change. It will take an informative and powerfully artistic approach to address issues related to many forms of bigotry and discrimination.

This film series is designed to align with the Health Sciences Common Book program and meant to be a more accessible, less time-intensive approach for faculty, staff, and students across disciplines to learn, reflect and discuss these issues and their relevance to health and healthcare.

The Health Sciences Social Justice Film Series is run in conjunction with the Health Sciences Center for Interprofessional Research, Education, and Practice. For more information or to get involved contact Tracy Brazg (tbrazg@uw.edu).
