Deadline: Pfizer Oncology Fellowship Program
The UW School of Medicine Office of Research & Graduate Education and the Fred Hutch Cancer Center Office of Education & Training are excited to announce a new 2-year PhD fellowship made possible by Pfizer.
The Pfizer Oncology Fellowship Program will support two outstanding predoctoral trainees who are pursuing research related to oncology or the development and/or understanding of novel therapeutics with the goal of supporting the training of the awardees for two years and strengthening relationships among Pfizer Oncology, Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center (FHCC), and University of Washington School of Medicine (UW SOM). Successful applicants will receive full stipend, benefits, and tuition funding for two years starting in their third year of training in addition to opportunities to attend round table discussions with Pfizer Oncology.
Eligibility criteria:
- Predoctoral graduate students in their third year of training enrolled in a School of Medicine PhD program or an interdisciplinary PhD program working with UW School of Medicine and/or Fred Hutch faculty member.
- Pursuing research related to oncology or the development and/or understanding of novel therapeutics
Application & selection timeline:
- January 28 – Pre-applications due
- February 28 – Invited finalist full applications due
- March 3 – Applicants notified
- March 16 – Fellowship support begins in the Spring 2025 quarter
