DESCRIPTION:The UW International & English Language Programs team is hosting an information session for UW advisers\, faculty\, and staff about the UW Graduate School Preparation Program. \nThe 2026 Graduate School Preparation Program is a four-week in-person academic preparation program at the University of Washington. DESCRIPTION:The WE Lead program is open to UW students from any major or degree program\, from first-year students to PhDs\, and they welcome all who are interested in innovation\, leadership\, and pursuing entrepreneurial ventures! \nWE Lead is a co-curricular program hosting events across campus throughout the year\, with opportunities for students to get more involved as desired. They are hosting some upcoming events and info sessions\, including their first mentoring event of the year. \nThe WE Lead Cohort is for entrepreneurial student leaders from any major who want to invest more deeply in their growth\, leadership\, connections\, and innovation journey this year. Cohort members are at various stages\, from the entre-curious to founders working on homework by day and their company by night and are welcome at any stage of their journey! DESCRIPTION:The Office of Research invites applications for the next round of the Royalty Research Fund (RRF) grant program. Proposals are due to RRF Monday\, September 29\, by 5:00 PM. Departments and Colleges/Schools may have earlier deadlines\, so all applicants are advised to check with their program’s administrative staff. Awards will be announced by January 15\, 2026. \nThe purpose of the RRF is to advance new directions in faculty research and contribute in substantive ways to the health\, creativity\, and productivity of the research ecosystem as defined by the University’s Vision Statement: “We discover timely solutions to the world’s most complex problems and enrich the lives of people throughout our community\, the state of Washington\, the nation\, and the world.” \nTo support applicant teams\, the Office of Research will be hosting three office hours sessions from 1 to 2 pm on September 10\, September 17\, and September 24.
