Lucy is currently a field application scientist working remotely for MaxCyte. In this role, she collaborates with many academic and industry partners to showcase MaxCyte’s technology in the fields of cell and gene therapy, bioproduction, and cancer biology.

Lucy received her PhD in Bioengineering from the University of Washington in 2022. During this time, she researched SARS-CoV-2 and drug delivery resulting in numerous publications and a provisional patent.

During this seminar, Lucy will talk about preparing for a career after a PhD, navigating her post-graduation job search, and identifying if working as a field application scientist might be a good fit for you.
