Advanced doctoral candidates with an interest in cancer research are welcome to join Winship Cancer Institute on the Emory University campus in Atlanta, Georgia, for a recruitment event on March 12-13, 2026.
Explore Postdoctoral Opportunities in Cancer Research
Approximately 10 applicants will be selected to travel to Winship Cancer Institute for the opportunity to network with prospective mentors, meet with current postdocs, and learn about life as a postdoctoral fellow at Emory. Travel expenses will be covered for selected applicants (U.S. domestic travel only).
Selected attendees will:
- Connect with leading cancer researchers and potential faculty mentors
- Discover Emory’s robust career development and postdoctoral support programs
- Explore Winship’s dynamic research environment and infrastructure supporting over $1 billion in funded research annually
- Experience Atlanta—“The City in the Forest”—a vibrant hub of innovation and culture in the Southeast
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must anticipate completion of their PhD by December 1, 2026. Priority will be given to external candidates eligible for NIH training grants.
