Registration for the May 27 (1:00-2:30 p.m. Pacific Time) virtual Town Hall regarding the UW’s Diversity in Clinical Trials Initiative (DCTI) is now open. This is the fourth webinar related to the DCTI, UW’s plan to comply with a Washington State law (RCW 69.78) which aims to improve participation in clinical trials from underrepresented communities.

Previous webinars related to the DCTI policy, translation and interpreter services and community engagement, and eConsent are available online.

This webinar offers Human Subjects Division updates and resources available to support research teams comply with the policy, which went into effect January 1, 2026. The Town Hall will conclude with a 30-minute Q&A session, and attendees are encouraged to submit questions in advance when registering. A recording of the webinar will be available on the DCTI website.
