Register Now: 11/19 DCTI Town Hall on Policy Updates, E-Consent, and Resources

Registration for the November 19^th (3-4:30 p.m. Pacific Time) virtual Town Hall regarding the UW’s Diversity in Clinical Trials Initiative (DCTI) is now open. This is the third webinar related to the DCTI, UW’s plan to comply with a new Washington State law (RCW 69.78) which aims to improve participation in clinical trials from underrepresented communities. Previous webinars related to the DCTI policy and translation and interpreter services and community engagement are available online.

This final webinar offers Human Subjects Division policy updates and resources including e-consent to help research teams prepare for the January 1, 2026 policy go-live date. The DCTI Town Hall will conclude with a 20-minute Q&A session, and attendees are encouraged to submit questions in advance when registering. A recording of the webinar will be available.
