In this seminar, Dr. Burns will discuss the intriguing world of repetitive DNA sequences within the human genome, focusing on the utility of using the LINE-1 ORF1 protein as a cancer biomarker. She will also explore the mechanisms and implications of LINE-1 ORF2 mutagenesis in various malignancies.
