The PhD Ambassadors have developed an event series designed to help first-year and second-year graduate students. Through this series, the PhD Ambassadors share tips, tricks, and their personal experiences on navigating graduate school.
Is there a topic that you would like the PhD Ambassadors to explore? If so, email your idea to somevent@uw.edu or to one of the PhD Ambassadors!
The PhD Ambassadors put together this event to serve as an introduction to everything you should know when you are considering which lab you would like to work in. Many departments will also host department-specific events on how to select a lab. This recording is not meant to replace any department event but to complement it. The PhD Ambassadors would highly encourage you to watch this recording, along with attending any department-sponsored event!
