It’s official – the 2025 Hollomon Health Innovation Challenge application is now open! The Hollomon Health Innovation Challenge (HIC) is UW’s annual startup competition focused on healthcare and life sciences, hosted by the Buerk Center for Entrepreneurship.

This event offers a thrilling platform for both undergraduate and graduate students passionate about making a tangible impact on the healthcare industry. It provides hands-on experience in developing innovative solutions, including judges’ feedback, mentorship opportunities, networking prospects, and the chance to win prize money. For anyone interested or curious about next steps, there is an in-person HIC Info Session coming up January 28^th from 11:00AM – 12:00PM in HUB 145. In this information session, we will review the timeline, structure, and rules of the 2025 Challenge. Following the session, students are welcome to stay for our Team Tuesday event, fostering networking and team-building opportunities for HIC and beyond!
