Fred Hutch is accepting applicants for the 7th Annual Dr. Eddie Méndez Scholar Award. More information about the program, which seeks support outstanding postdoctoral fellows from disadvantaged backgrounds as they conduct research in basic sciences, cancer biology, infectious diseases, or public health sciences, can be found on the award website.

Recipients receive an honorarium and are celebrated at a scientific symposium, where they present their research findings, connect with fellow scientists and meet with Fred Hutch faculty and senior leaders.

The application deadline is February 1, 2025.
