The mission of UW Medicine’s Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Center for Transformational Research (UWM-JEDICTR) is to study and ultimately eliminate health disparities by promoting the principles of justice, equity, diversity and inclusion in the research of at-risk populations, and by increasing the recruitment, retention and advancement of students, residents, fellows and faculty who support health equity, understanding and access to health care among these populations. For more information, please visit https://equity.uwmedicine.org/uwm-jedictr/. The agenda will be shared closer to the day of the event, but the day long retreat will include reflections on Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion across the research spectrum in addition to working sessions on Values, Mission and Vision, and Strategic Pillars and Priorities. The retreat will include catered breakfast and lunch. The event has a max capacity of 45, so please register at this link if you wish to attend. If registration reaches max capacity, they will utilize a waitlist. Please reach out to Keenan Dowers if you have any questions about the event: keenand@uw.edu. |
