Christopher Goss, MD is the Associate Dean for Clinical Research in the Office of Research & Graduate Education (RGE). Chris is a also Professor of Pulmonary, Critical care and Sleep Medicine and Professor of Pediatrics.
Chris is a clinician scientist and has conducted over 70 industry trials and investigator-initiated drug trials funded by the FDA, NIH, and Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF) among others. He currently serves as a principal investigator or key scientist on 23 funded projects, including one P30 and two R01s.
As Associate Dean for Clinical Research, Chris works to ensure a robust environment for clinical research. Chris assists with the partnership and joint clinical research efforts with the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center (FHCC), interface with the Institute for Translational Health Sciences (ITHS), and assist with the governance and support of the Clinical Trials Office (CTO).
Chris works in close coordination with compliance, administration and finance, and other important UW Medicine partners to ensure policies, procedures, and regulations in clinical research and research training programs comply with federal and state laws.
