Mine Metitiri is a New York City transplant and a fourth-year PhD student in the Implementation Science program in the Department of Global Health. Her PhD research focuses on cancer registration and health systems in low-middle-income settings. Mine is an alumna of Emory University, where she obtained her undergraduate degree in Biology as a Pre-Med major. She also earned dual graduate degrees in Public Health for Epidemiology and Behavioral Science and Health Communication from Saint Louis University. Additionally, Mine is an alumna of the University of Southern California, where she earned a Master of Science in Geographic Information Systems and Technology. In her free time, Mine enjoys watching sports, playing tennis, reading books, watching movies, and, when affordable, traveling to explore other countries.
