Amy Serafino, M.Ed. serves as the Outreach Specialist for the Office of Research and Graduate Education (RGE).
In this role Amy is the event lead for all RGE signature events including the Science in Medicine Lecture Series, Inventor of the Year, Future Faculty Fellows Workshop, the School of Medicine PhD Hooding Ceremony, and various others. Amy provides administrative and programmatic support to the mentor education program, the UW-Gonzaga University Regional Health Partnership, UWSOM Affinity Groups, and various other RGE and SOM programs and initiatives. Amy has over 14 years of event planning and project management experience. She holds a master of education in student development and leadership in higher education from Angelo State University and a bachelor of science in communication studies: public relations and event management from Tarleton State University.
