Matthew Curry

Matthew Curry is RGE’s Manager of Research Services, administering the provision of recharge cost center services for researchers as well as the expansion of services for researchers at multiple SoM facilities.

Matt joined the UW School of Medicine in 2007 as the South Lake Union Research Services Administrator in the Office of Research and Graduate Education (RGE) when the Brotman Building consisted of twenty-six labs. He worked to develop services to support the Phase II opening of the SLU C, North, and South buildings in 2008; the E building in 2014; and the F Building in 2017.

During this time his group transitioned to the School of Medicine Facilities team. In 2021, Matt began supporting the labs and research centers at the Harborview Medical Center in the Research & Training (R&T) and Ninth & Jefferson (NJB) buildings. Matt also oversaw all Research Operations including A/V and reception services, waste disposal, surplus and equipment disposal, and community relations.

Matt brings a background in communication and public outreach and assisted in the development of site climate for researchers at SLU and HMC. He holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from the UW Evans School of Public Relations.
